Dimensional INSPECTION

If your company has a specific engineering problem which involves the dimensional accuracy of one of your components, Inspection can give you some clarity on an independent basis.

As a customer, you can bring parts to us and have direct input into the measurement/investigation. This type of service provision is as close to having your own inspection facility and Co-ordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).

With the use of a Faro Arm which is a portable coordinate measuring machine (CMM). that allows manufacturers easy verification of product quality by performing 3D inspections, tool certifications, CAD comparison, dimensional analysis, reverse engineering, and more. PPAP

Production Part Approval Process can be a tedious job, but it is a requirement in order to proceed to the next phase of the process. We can help with the dimensional part of PPAP.

Inspection reports can be compiled against every dimension on the component drawing either on a standard report forms or forms supplied by the customer.

capability STUDIES

Process capability is defined as a statistical measure of the inherent process variability of a given characteristic. You can use a process-capability study to assess the ability of a process to meet specifications. A good measuring technique and a reliable CNC CMM part program is needed to inspect parts at precisely the same location on each part, thus eliminating process variations and ensuring that features are accurately measured. A 30-piece capability study is usually sufficient enough for statistical analysis to determine the control limits of any feature characteristics
